About the event
Happy to announce the beginning of our in-person Indigenous Herbology full course with tematchtiani Josh Tecpatzin.
Purpose: Connect to land, nature, & the philosophies of ancient civilizations that have stewarded the Utah region for millennia; following their practices, their knowledge and connecting community with spirituality.
Practice: We will learn about local indigenous herbs like: Common Sage, Peppermint, Oregano, Thyme, Artemisia Tridentata, Osha Root, Dandelion, Nettle, calendula, rosemary. We will learn how to make oils and tinctures. Each week will introduce new herbs, building upon lessons from the previous weeks.
